SEO can feel like a world of jargon, guesswork and conflicting advice. The SEO training I offer is designed to make it feel a lot less mysterious.
Whether you want to understand the basics so you can make improvements yourself, support your in-house marketing team, or simply have more confident conversations with your SEO consultant, this training gives you a practical grounding in how search works and what you can do to help your website perform better.
No baffling acronyms without explanation. No pretending SEO is magic. Just clear, useful training that helps you understand what matters, what doesn’t, and where to focus your efforts.
How the training works
In my experience, trying to absorb huge amounts of SEO information in one go rarely works. It is far easier to learn when the training is broken into manageable sessions, with time between them to reflect, ask questions and try things out.
That’s why I’ve developed a modular SEO training course delivered over five sessions. Each session lasts between one hour and 90 minutes, with plenty of time for questions, discussion and practical examples.
The training works well remotely via Teams, so you don’t need to travel or gather everyone in one place.
And you won’t need to spend the whole session frantically scribbling notes. Each trainee receives a full copy of the training material for every session, including accompanying notes, so you can revisit the information afterwards.
Why do I offer SEO Training?
People sometimes ask why I offer SEO training at all. After all, doesn’t teaching people how SEO works mean they might need less help from me?
Honestly, I don’t see it that way.
First, I genuinely enjoy helping people understand SEO. There’s a lovely moment when something clicks — when it stops feeling like an unlockable magic box and starts to make sense.
Second, informed clients make brilliant SEO partners. When you understand what we’re doing, why it matters, what’s realistic and how long good SEO can take, the whole process becomes more productive.
Sometimes training helps people feel confident enough to handle more SEO activity themselves. Sometimes it helps them realise that good SEO needs more time and resource than they have available. Either outcome is useful, because it leads to better decisions.
Whether you want to learn enough SEO to have a go yourself, support your team, or build a stronger working relationship with your SEO consultant, I’d be very happy to welcome you into my world and share what I know.
